The members of the 2009-10 state champion wrestling team include (front row) Kevin Akers, Mitch Brozovich, Clayton Charland, Brandon Collofello, Jacob DeKlerk, Zachary Friant, Joseph Govednik, Brandon Haase, Kalvin Hill, Alex Hoshell, Cody Jones, Sean Kenny, Matthew McEvilly, Michael McNulty, Matthew Meyer, Blake Montella, Mitchell Morris, Colin Nielsen, Corbett Oughton, Jacob Pots, Josh Pullara, Jacob Residori, Daneil Ruettiger, Kevin Ruettiger, Leo Ruettiger, Matthew Stevens, Timothy Wright, and Robert Zabel.

The 2009-10 wrestling squad became the first team in MInooka history to bring home a state championship. The final match against Sandburg came down to freshman Matt Meyer, who won his match 7-2 and gave Minooka the championship. Minooka won the SPC, the regional, and the sectional on their way to the state finals.
