2020 Softball

In early March, the girls softball team went to play laser tag. They were about a week away from their first game when schools closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Season Cancelled

The 2020 season was supposed to be the first with Minooka competing in the West Division of the Southwest Prairie Conference. Minooka would play three games against the others in the West and one game against the other conference members. Unfortunately, the season was initially put on hold on March 13 when Illinois Governor JB Pritzker ordered schools closed for two weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic. The order was then extended before later declaring school buildings would remain closed for the rest of the academic school year. On April 21, the IHSA officially cancelled all spring sports tournaments.
