Overall Record 13-6

Conference Record 7-1

The 2018 girls varsity soccer team continued their 3-year regional champions streak, falling just short of a sectional championship versus Normal Community High School — what the MCHS soccer program calls the “Normal at Normal curse”.  For the second year in a row, Minooka was the conference champion, five players earning an All-Conference title: Brooke Brodzinski, Isabella Alessio, Macie Alexa, Kennedy Messina, Vanesa Ramos. Brodzinski and Alexa were both awarded MVP. They were able to compete against Waubonsie Valley, a Top 10 team in the state, falling one goal short of a win early in the season. This was the culmination season of four years worth of unprecedented growth within the program that turned decades of losing seasons into four years straight of overwhelming victories and upsets against conference teams who previously dominated the fields.
