2020 Boys Lacrosse

The 2020 boys lacrosse team was just a few days away from their season opener when the schools were closed due the coronavirus pandemic.

Season Cancelled

Kyle Holmes was named the new head coach of the boys lacrosse team. During the off-season, new artificial turf was installed at the MCHS stadium. Unfortunately, no lacrosse matches would be held on that turf in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The boys were six days away from their season opener when llinois Governor JB Pritzker ordered schools closed for two weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic. The order was then extended before later declaring school buildings would remain closed for the rest of the academic school year. On April 21, the IHSA officially cancelled all spring sports tournaments.
