Two girls, Doris Hayes and Jennifer Clardy, ran cross country for Minooka in 1989. In most of the dual meets, Minooka received a score of 50, which is given to schools who do not field a complete team. Hayes advanced to the Sterling sectional out the Pontiac regional after finishing 28th as an individual.
