1985-86 Boys Basketball

The members of the 1985-1986 boys varsity basketball team include (front row) S. Burroughs, D. Goggines, D. Ray, N. Goswai, V. Gengler, J. Cartwright; (top row) head coach Wayne Greenbeck, K. Egly, S. Hunter, L. Carr, B. Papesh, T. Hecker, K. Egly, and B. Reichert. 

Overall Record: 10-15

The 1985-86 team lost in the Joliet Central regional to Joliet Catholic to end their season.  Bryan Papesh was named to the all-conference second team of the NEC and Scott Hunter and Lonnie Carr received special mention. Hunter was also the co-MVP for the Minooka Thanksgiving Tourney.  Carr was named MVP for the season with Larry Holtz as most improved.  Dan Goggins won the sportsmanship award.
