One of the best season's in Minooka history also had the biggest win in Minooka history.  MCHS beat Providence Catholic in the quarterfinals of the 6A playoffs.  Led all year by Russ Weil, who had 20 touchdowns, the team also won the conference.  Ultimately they were beat by Carmel in the semifinal roud of the  playoffs.
