1964-65 Boys Basketball
Members of the 1964-65 varsity basketball team include (front row) manager R. Coleman, P. Brooks, R. Kraker, D. Murley, D. Brown, B. Heap, S. Thorsen, D. The 1964-65 varsity boys basketball team finished 4th in the Coal Valley Conference tournament and overall in the Coal Valley Conference. They also finished 3rd in the Fox Valley Conference. They played mostly .500 ball against other teams in the conference. After beating Earlville in the first round of the district tournament, the lost to Neward in the semifinals. Craig Mann and Al Dorick were named MVPs for the season, and Dorick also won the sportsmanship award.
