To keep their state-qualifying streak alive, Minooka won sectionals in 2013 to continue the streak for a 5th year. Led by all-state brothers, Carson and Corbett Oughton, the Indians won the Southwest Prairie Conference and Regionals to start their journey to State. They clinched a playoff spot with a blowout win over Waubonsie Valley in Sectionals, but their State Championship hopes were cut short with a loss to state finalist Marmion Academy in the quarterfinals.
