The 1952-43 boys basketball team had a lot of success on the court. They won the Grant Park Holiday Tournament by defeating East Lynn in the championship. game. They also won the Fox Valley Conference Tournament by beating Newark in the finals. In the district tournament, they built Rollo in the opening game by 50 points, but lost to Leland in the semifinals to end their season.
