The Minooka boys cross country 2000 season was one to remember.  They had two sectional qualifiers, seniors Kellen Walker and Larry Coons. A lot of PRs in race times were made this year. Team cross country awards were given to the following: Larry Coons was the most valuable runner, Matt DeCraene was the receiver of the highly guarded Pheidippides Award, Walker was most improved, and Jeff Chiapello took the sportsmanship award.
