A competitive team in all 18 events, the 2019 varsity girls track and field team never finished lower than 3rd in all outdoor invitationals. They were 3rd at both the indoor and outdoor SPC Championship meets. At sectionals, they qualified four different entries for the state finals. During the season, the school announced it would be overhauling the MCHS stadium, replacing the track and installing artificial turf in the infield. The changes were to begin in the summer, making this team the last one to compete with the old facilities.
