The Minooka wrestling team had a successful season for being such a young team. The team finished with a team dual record of 22 wins and only 4 losses. The team won a championship at the Palatine Tournament, 5th place at the Hinsdale Central Tournament, and 7th place at the annual Illini Classic. The season was cut short at regionals after they took 2nd to a very tough Lincoln-Way West team. The team qualified 11 starters to the sectional and had a lone state qualifier, Jake Shipla.
