Tony Ray was named MVP for the 1982-83 varsity boys basketball team. There wasn't much height on the team, head coach Wayne Greenbeck called the team "scrappy" and said they played "exciting basketball." David Thompson was named Most Improved and Robert Dullard won the Sportsmanship award.
