Minooka ended the season with three close games in a row, including one in the regional, but it wasn't enough to save it from a rough season. Assistant coach Rob Torchia would retire from MCHS this year, after a long coaching career or numerous different sports. Shortly after Minooka's season-ending loss in the regional, the rest of the state series would be canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
