Season Summary
The 2024-25 varsity Minooka Cheer team had an incredible season, highlighted by their impressive run to the IHSA State Finals.
After a year of hard work and determination, the team not only qualified for state but advanced to Day 2 of the competition, a significant achievement that showcased their talent and perseverance.
Their performance earned them a 10th place finish, solidifying their spot among the top teams in Illinois.
Throughout the year, the team finished 2nd at both the Lincoln-Way West and Lake Zurich invitationals. They were 3rd at Oswego, and 4th at Joliet West.
Minooka finished 2nd at the SPC Championship at Plainfield North before heading to Farmington the following week for sectionals, where they were 4th, good enough to qualify for state.
This season was a reflection of the team’s dedication, with standout performances from key athletes and unwavering support from their coaches.
