State Champs

1st in Conference

The girls cross country team won a state championship for the first time in school history. They did not lose a meet all season. They were led by three all-state runners: Emily Shelton, Mackenzie Callahan and Ashley Tutt. “Before it was official that we were state champions, coach has us all get together for a meeting. I was just crying, and Tutt was right next to me kept looking over at me, I was just crying, tears of joy," Shelton said.
