The Minooka girls varsity soccer team in 2010-2011 achieved one of the top conference records. Unfortunately the team went under .500 and lost their first game in regionals. The team had four all-conference athletes, including goalie Sam Gewalt. The team rallied around Gewalt during the season as she battled leukemia.
