1st in Conference

Head coach Kevin Gummerson knew the 2016-17 team would do phenomenal, and they ended up 3rd in the state and beyond. The varsity girls Minooka cross country team traveled to Detweiller Park just behind Naperville North and Yorkville. The girls later competed under the name "The Nook" in the Nike Cross series and qualified for nationals in Portland, Ore., where they placed 16th. Page researched by Natalie Loomis, 2022
