The 2019-20 Minooka varsity dance team had a very successful competition season. They rolled through most competitions usually getting first place in each one. At one point in the season they beat every single team in the class 3A. They rolled through the post season winning conference and being back-to-back-to-back conference champions. They then went into sectionals placing 1st. Then the next weekend was state and they finished 3rd at state and brought home a state trophy for Minooka. It was the first IHSA state trophy for the program.
