Their strong start to the season got the 2004 softball team ranked early in the state of Illinois. They had a tremendous record. The girls won the conference, and soon after they were regional champs. After beating Joliet in the first round of sectionals, they fell to Lockport in the sectional final by just one run. Lockport would go on to be state champs.
