Going into the final game of the regular season, Plainfield North was trying to win a share of the SPC title. Minooka was looking for a fifth win and a shot at making the playoffs. Minooka scored twice in the 4th quarter and took the game 16-14, putting them in 8A playoffs. They would lose to Huntley in the first round.
