The 2009 varsity girls track & field team set 5 school records during a season where they finished a close second in the conference and qualified two events for the state meet. Lyndsay Kooi scored the most points for Minooka, earning a conference championship in the long jump along the way. Ashley Stewart was also a conference champ in the shot put, and scored the most points in the field events. Rachel Williams won the 3200m run and conference, set a school record, and later qualified for the state meet. She scored the most points for the distance runners.
