The 2004-05 season for the boys varsity wrestling team was one of the betters years in school history. With an overall record of 15-7 and an SPC record of 5-0, Minooka was a strong team being able to win the IHSA Regionals and having three  wrestlers going to state. Senior Keith Cook with a record of 29-4 was able to place 6th in state in the heavyweight division which is know has one of the hardest divisions in wrestling. Sophomore Kevin Bokoski and junior Chad Davenport where the other two  that went to state.
