The 2024 varsity girls track & field team competed against the best in the state and went toe to toe with them throughout the season. They were second in the SPC, sectionals, and the Minooka Invitational, all of which included the state's best performers. Individually, Laila Richardson dominated the throws events throughout the year, setting a new school record in the outdoor shot put. Minooka qualified for state in 10 different events, including three relays. Maya Ledesma was all-state by finishing 5th in the 3200m run. She ran in heat 1 at the state finals, and won it. She had to wait a couple hours to see how heat 2 did before learning she was fifth overall.
