With two all-state athletes and a conference championship, the 2017 varsity girls track and field team had many highlights. After also winning the indoor conference meet, Minooka dominated the outdoor SPC Championship by winning by 48 points. In addition to the conference, Minooka won all four outdoor invitationals. Junior Emily Shelton was 4th at state in the 3200-meter run, and senior Mackenzie Callahan finished 2nd in the state in the 1600-meter run.
