The 1967-68 varsity basketball placed 3rd in the Plano Christmas Classic tournament, beating Plano in the last game. They largely played .500 ball throughout the season. Gary Sweeney was awarded the Wayne Thompson Memorial trophy for the best free throw percentage (.7321). The team was edged by Leland in the first round of the district tournament.
