Unfortunately, the season would end in the first round of regionals, but there was plenty of memorable moment from the 1999-2000 girls basketball team. One of those moments would be when Nina Simotes went on to win the Montini Christmas tournament MVP trophy. Another season highlight is that the girls were the only team to beat Morris on their own court. And finally the most memorable moment for the team this year would be when they beat Fenton at home in double overtime for the first time in three years.
