Season Summary
The 2025 girls track and field team made a lot of history. With a well-balanced team that scored points in all but three events, they won they sectional for only the third time in program history.
They qualified for state in eight different events. At the state finals, Maya Ledesma would win two medals, doubling in the 3200m run (4th) and coming back in the 1600 run (6th).
Natalie Nahs would also earn all-state honors with her 9th-place finish in the 800m run.
Minooka won the Homewood-Flossmoor Pentangular, the Plainfield South Indoor Invite, and the all of the weekday meets against conference schools.
Ledesma would set a new school record in the 3200m run with a time 10:29.09 at the Distance Night in Palatine. Nahs set a school record in the 800m run at the state meet during the prelims.
The 4x100m relay team of Natilee Nahs, Lydia Michalesko, Zoe Moxley, and Elizabeth Egwunwoke would set a school record at sectionals with a time of 48.75.
