Minooka lost its first two games against Plainfield South and Oswego. They went on a 7-game winning streak to clinch the 14th seed in the 8A state playoffs. They lost in the first round of the playoffs to Loyola Academy, who went on to eventually become the state champs. Nine Minooka players were named as all-conference athletes.
