Getting to state was always the goal for the 2011-12 girls dance team, but placing top three was the dream. Under new coaching staff, Minooka was led by head coach Cathy Gliwa. After kicking off their season at Stagg the girls were unstoppable finishing top two in their first four competitions. They then continued to persevere and qualified for TDI state with ease. The girls then went on to place second overall at TDI state in pom.
