The Girls’ Athletic Club, GAC, met quite a few times throughout 1972. Many party ideas, like a skating party or a night at the bowling alley, had been suggested as ideas to the group’s sponsor, Miss Kenney. There had also been talk of creating a Father-Daughter night. The group was also in control over the lock-in, which was held on March 30. They held a Mother-Daughter banquet on May 15 at the Morris Holiday Inn.
The group voted, like most other groups, to have officers. Debbie Broella was the president, Sharon Hayse was the vice president, Kim Bols was the secretary, and Mindy McCarter was the treasurer. There were no student council representatives as officers.
