The 2012 Minooka girls volleyball team had many challenging games during their season. The Indians began with a strong showing at the Tiger Classic tournament in Edwardsville, but ended the regular season with some tough play at the Lyons Tournament.  The Indians team was a generous team raising over $3,000 dollars to fight cancer for Mr. Sam Pavelka, science teacher. They went on to win the regional before falling in the first round of sectionals. “This season was a bit of an emotional roller coaster but im happy our team found who we are in the end, the season might be over but we will always keep in touch and stay good freinds,” said senior Raven Burns in the 2012-13 yearbook.
