A huge come-from behind victory over Lockport in the sectional semi-finals highlighted their state series run. Austin Lehmann hit a three-run homer to tie the game with two outs in the bottom of the sixth against the Porters, and then Brett Frantini followed with an RBI double. It was also the first year for Minooka competing in the new Southwest Prairie Conference, which included many of the same teams from the previous year's Suburban Prairie South.
