The 2008 Minooka boys volleyball team lost in regionals in a close one against Waubonsie Valley. They dropped the first set 25-11 and won the second 25-22. The third set was the closest of the three and with both teams being tired Minooka lost 28-26. The team did have one all conference athlete Matt Phillips, who was a big factor in helping Minooka win many games.
