Objectives:
Students can demonstrate that I understand the difference between shape and form
Students will draw a 3D form for each of the main geometric shapes
Students will demonstrate that I can add shading to enhance the look of my form
Students will be able to demonstrate that I understand what a cast shadow is
Students will create a cast shadow for my forms
Vocabulary:
Cast Shadow- the shadow created, usually on the ground, when light is blocked by an object or figure
Form- the three dimensional version of a shape (cube, pyramid, cone, rectangular prism, sphere, cylinder)
Light Source- showing where the area of light comes from
Shading-showing how light hits or is blocked on an object, the area that is closer to the light source is lighter than the area that curves away or is farther from the light source
