Design- repeating patterns to create an overall desired effect
Movement- Principle of design dealing with the visual flow of the art work; placing the elements in a path that creates the look of moving from one space to another
Overlapping- Placing one thing on top of another to create a different look or show foreground/background; creates the look of depth in a 2D work
Repetition- repeating an element
Spacing- the ability to show movement by creating lines or shapes an equal distance apart from one another.
