Hand Drawing
Objectives:
I can demonstrate an ability to draw a hand using the process of shape, contour, then shading
I can demonstrate a knowledge of proportion
I can demonstrate that I understand form,placement and overlapping
I can demonstrate that I understand how a light source hits an object to create highlights and shadows and can show the ability to add shading with that information
Vocabulary:
Contour line- the contour line is basically the outline of an object
Form- a three dimensional version of a shape or object
Highlights- the area where the light source hits an object
Overlapping- when one area goes in front of another area
Proportion- relation in size between objects or parts of an object
Shading- the way that we show how light touches an object by adding highlights and shadows
Shadows- the area where the light source is blocked or does not touch an object
