Non-Objective Values

Objectives:

I can demonstrate an understanding of non-objective art

I can demonstrate knowledge of monochromatic values

I can demonstrate an ability to create tints, tones, and shades

Vocabulary:

Hue-  Another word for color

Value- The lightness or darkness of a color

Monochromatic-  Many values of a single color or hue

Tint-  Mixing white with a hue

Shade- Mixing black with a hue

Tone- Mixing gray with a hue

Non-Objective- Another way to say Abstract or Non-representational Art.  Refers to art that does not show or represent a person, place, or thing in the natural world
