Shape Explosion
Objectives:
I can create a paper divided into four sections. Each section has been broken into various pieces using only horizontal and vertical lines (kind of like a jigsaw puzzle)
I can cut each piece and glue within the coordinating section. Each piece will look as if it has exploded from a single perspective point
I can add perspective lines to each of my shapes to the perspective point
Vocabulary:
Depth- the measure of how far back in space an object goes
Horizontal Lines- a line that goes across the paper
Overlapping- placing one thing in front of something else
Perspective Lines-lines that go from the shape to the perspective or vanishing point; this shows how far back in space or the depth of the shape
Perspective Point- also known as a vanishing point; it is the point that all lines head toward
Vertical Lines- a line that goes up and down
