Composition- the arrangement of the visual elements; where you put things
Design- a plan, a sketch, an arrangement of pattern and lines
Emphasis- an area within the work of art that draws the attention of the viewer and becomes the focal point
Movement- a principle of design that gives the impression of an action
Repetition- repeating an element, line, or shape
Scratchboard- is a form of direct engraving; the artist scratches off the dark ink covering tagboard to reveal white or color underneath it
