Horizontal- lines that are going across the paper; side to side
Measurement- using a ruler to have exact space between each part drawn; the size or length of something
Negative space- the area that is AROUND the object; what is not there
Positive space- the area that IS the object; what is there; the object itself
Vertical- lines that are going up and down on the paper, from top to bottom
