Flower Transitions
Value- the lightness or darkness of a color
Value Scale- a group of several values ranging from white to black and all of the grays in between.
Highlight- the area where a light source touches an object
Shadow- the area moving away from where a light source is touching an object
Sphere- a 3D version of a circle; like a ball
Value Transition- smoothly moving from one value to the next so that there is not a definitive change in value; there will be no areas where you see one value then it drastically changes to another value

Challenge: Try to change the object into something that might be a bit more detailed. You will need to make certain though that there is a positive and negative area so that the transitions can go from light to dark, then reverse in the area next to it.
