Vocabulary:

Balance- distribution of the visual weight within a work of art

Design- creating an image through the use of elements

Outline- a line drawn around the outside edge

Surrounding- encircling or going completely around something

Symmetry- formal balance that consists of a mirror image; it's the same on both sides
