Overlapping Pipes

Highlights- an area of the lightest tone used to indicate an area where the light touches an object to show that it is closer to the light source
Overlapping- when one line or shape goes in front of another line or shape; many times the item in front blocks the view of part of the line or shape behind it
Shadows- the area of the darkest tone used to indicate an area where the light is not touching the object to show that it is moving farther from the light source
Space- areas around, between, or within that shows distance
Three-Dimensional- A form showing Height, Width, and Depth
Value- the lightness or darkness of a color
