Line Person

Objectives:

I can demonstrate the ability to create the illusion of a person walking out of nothingness through only the use of vertical and horizontal lines

I can demonstrate the ability to create lines using a ruler or straight edge

I can demonstrate the ability to create even spacing through the use of a ruler or straight edge

I can demonstrate an understanding of the vocabulary words through their application within my project

Vocabulary:

Horizontal- straight lines parallel to the horizon that move from left to right or across the paper

Parallel- two lines that remain the same distance apart and will never touch

Perpendicular- two lines that intersect at a 90 degree angle

Spacing- the distance or area in between two elements

Vertical- straight lines that are perpendicular to the horizon that move up and down
