Kitchen

Policies regarding the Kitchen can be read in Chapter 6, Section 3 of the Strictly Savvy Policies Manual here.

Cleaning Products

Cleaning products are found in the kitchen in the cupboard under the sink.

There is generally paper towels in the cupboard under the microwave also.

If you notice something is getting low or has run out please let Jo know.

If there is no toilet paper in the drawer in the bathroom, there is some in the hallway linen cupboard.

Fridge

Please ensure any food you bring to work and put in the fridge is named. Please note that if you put food in the fridge that is unnamed, the assumption is that you are sharing it with others.

All alcohol is to be stored in the bar fridge.

In the doors of the fridge are the shared items (milk, butter) which anyone is welcome to use.

Hot Drinks & Food Supplies

Strictly Savvy provides tea, coffee, milo and sugar for you to have hot drinks during work hours - these are in the Pantry.

Also provided for your use is salt, pepper and some spreads eg. marmite and butter - these are in the Pantry.

Milk is provided for you to use in your hot drinks - not breakfast nor kids' drinks.

Feel free to bring in your own milk if you want to have milk for other purposes.

There is also a coffee machine, the General Manager can show you how to use this.

Full Rubbish Bin - Pod

Take the rubbish bag out and tie the top.

Ensure you put a new bag into the rubbish bin (for the Pod: these are located in the bottom shelf in the stationary cupboard in the pod).

Put in the wheelie bin which is located outside beside the garage.

Cups and Cutlery

Cups, plates, and cutlery are all found in the kitchen.

Cups are located in the top drawer to the left of the fridge. Feel free to bring in your own cup to use.

Plates and bowls are found second drawer to the left of the fridge.

Cutlery is found in the top draw of the set of draws to the right of the dishwasher, on the island.

It is your responsibility to rinse your dishes and put them into the dishwasher. Check that the dishwasher is not full of clean dishes before you put yours in. If it is clean, please take a couple of minutes to empty the dishwasher instead of leaving your dirty dishes on the bench. The kitchen is kept clean by team effort.
