How To Manage Courier Mail/Packages

Our courier provider is New Zealand Couriers. Please give any courier packages, or items to be sent, to the Office Administrator to book the courier to come and pick them up.

Overnight courier packages must be booked in with New Zealand Couriers by 3pm. If you miss this cut-off time then you can take it to the NZ Post Office at Paper Plus in the mall in Upper Hutt by 4:30pm.

Sending a package

We have a range of prepaid courier bags for posting which are stored in the stationery cupboard in the pod. When you use one you need to fill in the Courier Bag Log Sheet with the following details:

• Date

• Name

• Client

• Bag Size (product number located under the sticker barcode on the prepaid bags)

• Contents eg documents, client gift

• Tracking number (located under the sticker barcode on the prepaid bags)

The grey section will then be filled out by the Office Administrator if needed:

• Added as expense (in Harvest in order to oncharge the client)

• Date added

• Name of person who actioned the expense

If the contents of your parcel do not fit into any of the available prepaid courier bags you will need to package it neatly in a large envelope or box. Boxes can be purchased on the company eftpos card from the post office at Paper Plus in the mall if required (this cost will be on-charged to the client through Harvest). 

Please note that we need to ask the courier for the tracking number of parcels not sent in prepaid courier bags. This tracking number needs to be provided to the Office Administrator so that they can on-charge the cost when we receive our invoice from NZ Couriers.

The Office Administrator will on-charge the cost of any courier bags, postal tubes or boxes used into Harvest against the client.

Booking a courier

1. Go to NZ Courier > Order products (click here to view)

2. Login with 'New Zealand Couriers - Strictly Savvy' account details (In the general folder in LastPass - Rochelle, Jo and Teesha have access to this login)

3. Select 'Send NZ'

4. Select 'Book a courier'

5. Place the package by the backdoor in the kitchen at Vista Crescent

Ordering courier bags

1. Go to NZ Courier > Order Products

2. Login with Strictly Savvy's account details - in LastPass

3. Select courier bags required

4. Submit order

Courier bags should arrive within 1-3 working days.
