How To Add Videos To YouTube

Who: This process is for the assigned VA to undertake

What: It shows you how to upload Videos to YouTube specifically our YouTube Channel

When: Undertake this process when needed

Why: This process is completed to upload videos in the YouTube Channel

1.Go to youtube.com

2.Sign in with the youtube@strictlysavvy.co.nz login details (in the Marketing folder in Lastpass - ask the Office Administrator for access to the password if you do not have it)

3.Click the video recorder icon in the top right hand corner of the screen and select ‘Upload Video’

4.Select the files you want to upload.

5.The episode title and description are automatically populated for the Get Savvy podcast. If you’re uploading a podcast episode, just add the episode number, title, and description. If you are not uploading a podcast episode, delete the Title and Description fields and start again.

6.Scroll down and select which playlist you’d like this uploaded to. Click next.

7.On the Video elements screen, you can choose to add subtitles, end screen (pop up at the end of the video), and cards (which show as banners in the top right corner of the video while you’re watching).

8.Click next, and next again through the checks screen.

9.On the visibility screen, choose whether you want your video to be public, or unlisted (which means people can watch but only when they have a link to the video). You can also schedule the video to go live at a future date.
