In recognition of all of the above, Jo was awarded Young Business Person of the Year for 2015 at the Wellington Region Business Excellence Awards for her outstanding leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity and vision for the future.

Before founding Strictly Savvy, Jo worked as an executive assistant in the private sector. She built on what she learned, and blended those valuable skills with her passion to innovate. Jo developed a high performing virtual assistant team that delivers valuable and efficient service to clients, helping them reach their goals and dreams.

Teesha Masson
General Manager

General Manager at Strictly Savvy, our all-star player Teesha is multi-faceted: organised, collaborative, persuasive and empathetic.

As GM, her focus is primarily on our Savvy team, developing our culture, supporting and upskilling team members, and cultivating our Savvy values. Her ultimate aim? To make sure our amazing clients get top quality services.

Don’t worry, for those who know and value her design skills, she still gets to express her dynamic personality and creativity through our internal marketing and collateral (and she’ll still be on the occasional client photoshoot!).

We feel very lucky to have someone who blends a love of technology with artistic skills and who can be counted on to stay steady under pressure, as well as communicate quite happily with all personality types!

Kathryn Stevens
Marketing Coordinator

With a wide range of experience in e-commerce management, legal assistance, social media marketing, and bookkeeping, Kathryn brings an exceptionally versatile skillset to the team! She prides herself on being able to pick up new tasks and procedures with ease and accuracy.

Having worked in such a wide variety of both corporate and creative roles, Kathryn is equipped with the skills required to lend a hand at each touchpoint of the business. A big thinker who is calm under pressure with a keen eye for detail, Kathryn has taken on the role of Marketing Coordinator, with a focus on developing and implementing our internal marketing, and keeping our online presence in top shape.

A self-confessed coffee snob and foodie, Kathryn spends her weekends hunting down the perfect oat milk latte, whipping up a new recipe, or finding new spots to explore with her dog Winston.

Courtney Tuhoro
Team Leader

Courtney brings a decade of experience in Administration and Office Management to her role supporting our VA team as their Team Leader. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for organisation, Courtney is a task-oriented powerhouse who thrives on variety throughout her day!

As a self-proclaimed "serial lister," Courtney enjoys planning, organising, and ticking off tasks as she goes.

She has top-notch time management skills and confidently tackles problem-solving and conflict resolution head on. Her excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allow her to interact with people from all social and cultural backgrounds with ease.

Courtney's expertise also extends to Xero and general bookkeeping, as well as a deep understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi principles and standards in the workplace.

Courtney's lighthearted yet hardworking nature makes her a perfect fit for her role within the Savvy Squad.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, restoring old furniture and experiencing the great outdoors. She’s also involved in the sport of Marching, and is studying to become an Accountant.

We knew Briar would be a perfect addition to our Savvy Squad as soon as we heard she was known as the ‘tech-savvy’ one at her previous jobs. Quickly picking up tools, systems, processes and finding better ways of working is her specialty, and now, Briar is our resident HubSpot implementation expert.

Having been customer service focused for the last 10 years, Briar’s no stranger to building relationships, problem solving and working under pressure to meet any client’s needs. Spending 5 years in the travel industry, she’s also the perfect VA to book your flights, accommodation, and any other work-trip or vacation needs!
